Neighborhood overview
What it's like to live in Cutler Bay
Cutler Bay is a relatively young, master-planned suburb on Biscayne Bay in the heart of South Dade, created in 2005 from the old Cutler Ridge community. It combines new construction, gated communities, and townhome neighborhoods with bayfront parks and marinas.
The town is a practical choice for families: safe streets, good public space, and prices well below the coastal corridors, with downtown Miami still reachable in about 30 minutes north.
The daily rhythm
Suburban and community-driven. Weekend baseball games, marina breakfasts, and the kind of neighborly atmosphere that planned communities are built to deliver.

Waterfront & outdoor access
Biscayne Bay laps the town's eastern edge, with marinas, the bayfront park system, and quick access to Biscayne National Park by boat. The Palmetto Expressway ends nearby for a reason: this is where the bay and the suburbs meet.
Getting around South Florida
US-1 and the Turnpike run through Cutler Bay's spine, and the Palmetto Expressway connects to the rest of the county. Metrobus service links the town to Metrorail at Dadeland South.
